Turts have great personalities and can be very entertaining to deal with.:) I love all of my herps but Daytona holds a special place in my heart.:)

we called dem phat boi an squirt lol
but dey were mean...lol

I do love animals but herptiles are my fav.:) The thing with herptiles tho is they don't interact with people like dogs and cats do. What species were your turtles? Water turtles aren't usually as "friendly" as land tortoises are. But a lot of it is usually misunderstand on the person's part. How exactly did that react? I got three of the turtles I have now b/c the previous owners either didn't want the responsibility of their care or said they where not nice. The problem is that these "not nice" turtles where either teased or learned to beg for food so they snap at any/everything. Please don't take this as me saying that's what happened with your turtles. I am just curious and if you want I can explain to you why they where "mean". A lot of it is again misunderstanding on how a turtle thinks and reacts to things.
